Add LLM configurations
After the initial setup you can add more models at any time — a new provider, an additional model from a provider you already use, or a replacement for your default or SQL-generation model.
The steps are the same as the first-time setup. In Configure LLMs, add a new LLM configuration with the provider, model, and credentials, then Test and save.
A few things to remember when adding models later:
- New provider? Create the API key or credentials at the provider first, and allow network egress to its endpoints — see Configure LLMs and Add networking rules.
- Always Test the configuration before saving to confirm the credentials and model access work.
- Update your defaults if you want the new model to be used widely — set it as the Default LLM or SQL Generation Model under Configuration > LLMs.
If you remove an LLM configuration that was being used for SQL generation, the SQL Generation Model setting is cleared automatically. After removing any LLM, re-check that both the Default LLM and SQL Generation Model are still set.
