Quickstart for builders
A guided path for a Finance Transformation Architect building their first App. The goal is a published runbook that an analyst can use the same day.
Audience: builders (the heroes)
The first day
Create your first App
Open /apps and click the round + App button. The create dialog opens. Name the App for the workflow ("AP exception triage" is a good first one), add an optional description, submit. See Create an App for the full walkthrough. Apps process work items end to end and are the most rewarding pattern for a finance first run.
Author the runbook in plain language
Open the Runbook tab. Describe the workflow the way you would explain it to a new analyst. See Authoring the runbook.
Define inputs and outputs
Open the Contracts tab. Name the input shape and the output slots. See Inputs, outputs, and contracts.
Review and publish
Compare your draft to what is currently published in the Plain language view. Confirm. See Review and publish.
Share with your team
Add analysts to the project. They start in the Use section.
